- Uncontrolled high blood pressure
- Breastfeeding a baby under 6 weeks old
- History of breast cancer or another hormone-sensitive cancer
- Liver disease
- Bariatric surgery or a malabsorption condition
- Significant side effects from current contraceptive — needs assessment
If any of these apply to you, book a Video Consultation instead so your GP can assess you properly — the booking form will offer to switch you over automatically if needed.
How your prescription reaches your pharmacy: if your GP approves your request, they email your prescription directly to the pharmacy you name during booking.
